 Erika Jayne | My favorite installment in the Real Housewives franchise focuses on the wives of Beverly Hills. Their seventh season return is slated for Tuesday December 6th. It comes on at 9/8 central. The same time as Scream Queens, but thank god for DVR! This season we knocked a housewife off. Yolanda Foster had a messy divorce, she hardly wanted on national TV. And, the fact that all of season 6 revolved around Lisa Rinna's accusation that she had “munchausen syndrome” was frankly exhausting. Yes. Yolanda. We know you have lyme disease. |
Kathryn Edwards one season stint is over and she won't be missed. Her OJ drama was hardly tantalizing and her loud mouth, deaf in one ear, personality didn't make her relateable. Bravo promises that this season will be “bigger, better, and more dramatic then ever before”. We shall see.
Matriarch, Lisa Vanderpump returns. Thank God! What would the show be without her? Lisa Rinna will keep her overly botoxed lips on our TV screens, and soap star Eileen Davidson (Young and the Restless) is a perennial favorite of calm witticism. AND, of course underground pop star Erika Jayne adds a splash of other worldliness that made season 6 so vibrant.

New castmates include Dorit Kemsley and Eden Sassoon of the Sassoon hair product fortune. Hopefully their just as exciting as their names suggest. And fortunately (or unfortunately) Kim Richards will be on to create tension between Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards. This plotline is tired, but subplot is always necessary for filler.
