 | CW is investing in a genre platform they know well. The teenage high school drama, with Pretty Little Liars and Teen Wolf coming to a close teens and 20 somethings need another show to get their hearts invested in. The Riverdale commercial includes sex, lesbians, murder, and intrigue. The plot of the show is murky to me, all I know is that the print ads in Cosmo and it's 30 second spot on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has me hooked. We have an entire cast of jocks that are in their 30s ready to take their shirts off. |
New Zealand actor K.J. Apa stars as the central protagonist Archie Andrews
I read over the cast names. The only who stood out to me was Cole Sprouse. Who knew he was acting again? The show is based off a comic series, I've never heard. Season one promises a lack of parental guidance, threatening tones, and revenge in at least a 10 episode arc. Netflix has picked up streaming rights, so you'll be able to watch it next day, even if you have let your cable package go.
