| NBC is ready to wake up Baltimore. Hairspray has finally got the the live television production that's been lofted upon The Sound of Music, The Wiz, and Rocky Horror Picture Show to name a few. On Wednesday, December 7th, anyone who hasn't made it to Broadway to see Hairspray will be able to see it on their flat screen plasma. It will also make for a nice break for my 2007 copy of Hairspray. Tragically, Zac Efron won't be making an appearance as Link Larkin. |  |
The television screen doesn't find as many A-Listers in it's roster, but it boasts some big names none the less. Ariana Grande is taking a break from recording her country album. Dove Cameron is there. Derek Hough is coming and the woman who invented Broadway, Kristen Chenoweth is there to save the day if anything bad happens.
