| The 89th annual academy awards are coming to ABC (again) this 2017. February is the month of high profile awards. The Grammy's have already come and past and now it's time to celebrate all the artistic endeavors made in Hollywood this year. Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting. It's going to be his first time, but he's sure to do a fantastic job. He's funny and sure to liven up the boring moments of the night. We'll see the red carpet, with all it's hits and misses. We'll see if anyone falls accepting their award (a la Jennifer Lawrence). |  |
The show has received negative media attention for it's lack of diversity. This year finds a slew of more varied options for the voting academy, still Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling led La La Land garnered the most nominations (14) and is likely to sweep a good number of them. It's all happening February 26th and it's sure to be thrilling.
