  | It appears that Jennifer Lopez's English language studio album has been put on hold after the relative chart failure of the Meghan Trainor penned “Ain't Your Mama”. She has since then, opted to release a Spanish single “Olvidame y Pega la Vuelta” with ex husband Marc Anthony. The Spanish language parent album is do out in 2017 and would be the first time she's sung in Spanish, since her phenomenal 2007 album Como Ama una Mujer. The new single picks up where her last album left off and with good reason. Her last Spanish album was a massive chart success in Latin regions. |
Anyone expecting the dance-pop of “On The Floor” or R&B/Hip-Hop of “Jenny From The Block” will be in for a surprise. With the coaching of Marc Anthony, her vocals are more raw, more powerful, and the lyrics more substantial. Fans of Latin music should find the new single a nice divergence from the Anglo sounds filling the airwaves. The song also has a salsa/tropical remix for those who need to kick up the pace.
