The singer hasn't announced any plans to release a new EP (or album), but she released “Stars In Your Heart” as an early Christmas present. The track is ethereal and a slow building torch song that has the timeless quality that fans of her song “Easy” will embrace. The ever shifting vocal stances she takes are one of the highlights of the track.
The video is a galactic striptease. Bonnie McKee channels her inner Jane Fonda in an old school visual that finds her transversing the world in order to restore her lover's heart. It's stunning and tasteful, even when her nipples are illuminated as pinpricks of stars. “Stars In Your Heart” is a warm track to brighten this winter season and a welcome gift from one of pop's most gifted (and underrated) performers.
