  | With the 2016 presidential election cycle being finalized tomorrow (yikes!) artists are putting in their final punches for who they think should be our 45th president. Media outlets, historically right and left wing are endorsing Hilary Clinton and music is no different. Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez are just some of the A-listers throwing their ring in the national debate. Le Tigre was one of the acts to throw out a musical number. They emboldened the name of Hilary's ad campaign with “I'm With Her” combining underground euro beats and distinctly nasally unquantified vocals to gear voters towards their political ideology. Included is a shouted, “TRUMP HAS GOT TO GO!!!” |
The group hasn't released a full length album since 2004, but found the current state of politics worth commenting on in a song that's torn between trashy catchiness and a cringe worthy addition to 2016. Be sure to get out and vote tomorrow (November 8th) and make your voice heard, even if Le Tigre's latest addition to their arsenal hasn't convinced you to switch political platforms.
