I've finally become obsessed. Released back in the middle of July, I enjoyed but did not feel the need to blog about Tinashe's new single “Superlove”. Released as a follow up single to 2015's “Player” this is her new stab to light up the pop charts.

We haven't had a hit single from Tinashe since “2 On” became a summer rhythmic hit in 2014. “Superlove” glistens with all the fun summer love that it tries to invoke. The song has fun playful lyrics and that description of all consuming endless love. The decision to team up with The Dream and Tricky Stewart was a calculated pop move. Combined they've written smashes for Beyonce, Britney Spears, and Rihanna to name check a few.

Tinashe is aiming for top 40 domination with her new single, something she only hinted at with “2 On” but anyone could have seen coming when her single “All Hands On Decks” got the Iggy Azalea remix treatment.​

The video for the single sparkles with sexy boys in need of saving. Tinashe has her dance skills on full display. Lollipops are being licked. There's some mouth to mouth resuscitation and Lifeguard Tinashe has “Bae Watch” emblazoned on her one piece just in case we forgot the titular TV show had it's film debut coming next year.​
