It's like True Detective, except not, and it's like American Crime, but it's actually called American Crime Story and it's airing on FX instead of ABC.

I was not really living for this show. Then, I saw the trailer and I was damn? Like, yes this story has been beaten like a dead horse, but I will invest, I will watch this. There's going to be some good acting in it. Hopefully some good writing and cinematography.

I'm sure OJ's mad about this. Although, after writing a book about what it would have been like “if” he had killed his wife and her friend, I don't think he can fault anyone. Not that he can do anything about it. Isn't he still in jail for that robbery in Vegas? OJ is a mess and not in the good way.
We've got some hot actors in this show. It's going to be a good one. We've got Cuba Gooding Jr. as OJ Simpson. I know what your thinking. Cuba can't act like that. Clearly you forgot about when he was in that movie Radio. I cry every time I watch it. |
John Travolta is here as Robert Shapiro. One of the many men who defended OJ Simpson in the real trial that also including Robert Kardashian Senior and Johnny Cochran. John Travolta's wife in the TV show is going to be played by Charlie's Angel alumni Cheryl Ladd. Robert Kardashian is being represented by David Schwimmer. Yes. The one of the Friends variety David Schwimmer. Connie Britton's going to be there and Sarah Paulson is taking lead as Marcia Clark, the woman who took lead prosecuting OJ Simpson.

Sarah Paulson you probably know best from her recurring guest spot on American Horror Story. This is a great role for her. She's dating 72 year old Holland Taylor right now and it's hot. Holland has that face snatched. Her breasts are good and lifted. Holland Taylor was in Legally Blonde and played Charlie's mother on Two and a Half Men. I ship it. They'll be the next lesbian power couple.

The show was created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karazewski. These names mean nothing to me. I've never heard of them. I'm sure their sexy and talented, but they're not on my radar. However, they do have Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk backing them as producers.

Those are the two men behind and Glee and Scream Queens. I'm glad that they've given their seal of approval for it, but I'm so glad they are not on the writing team. After they fucked up the season finale of Scream Queens I don't know if any of us can really trust him.
American Crime Story is going to be airing on FX on Tuesday nights. The premiere is set for February 2nd of 2016. This will be the perfect show. It's going to be cold and miserable and we'll all be at home with a bowl of popcorn, a glass of wine, maybe a tall glass of water if we're watching our weight. My mind and body are ready for this extravaganza. |
