As a general rule, I am not a horror movie proponent, but I'm counting this more as a thriller. I've wanted to see this, since I heard about it. Queen J. Lo is in the lead as a mother who is divorced or something like that. And, she has sex with her son's best friend who is also in High School.
That is the basic premise of The Boy Next Door. I think she's a teacher or a principal or something like that. That is not the point. This is going to be a good steamy slasher. It might not be a slasher, but this child she has sex with turns into this psychotic something. |
I think this movie is rated R, but as an adult now. Things like ratings don't phase me. Now why are we going to see this movie. First of all J. Lo.
That's the reason. It could be an exceptional horror movie or it could be a run of the mill steam fest. Either way, we win. Because, Jennifer Lopez is in it. J. Lo is only kind of my queen. I love her. She is the reason I knew about this movie last December. I keep up with my J. Lo. Also, Kristen Chenoweth is going to be in it. I have no idea what she will be doing. This isn't the kind of movie where you have you to know what the actors are doing. I love Kristen. She's pretty fantastic. Cute, blonde. Just like me. |
When she started the tour it was announced there was going to be a concert film. Concert film's were all the rage, Justin Bieber was doing it, Katy Perry, One Direction. Jennifer's was even supposed to be in 3D. That as you can tell didn't happen.
But, that is okay. We will all trek down to the theater on the 23rd and see Jenny all hot and bothered. And, whenever HBO reairs the special, you can watch it. I'll just keep staring at Ryan Guzman's body.
