Diamond Hard

“Diamond Hard” is the third single released from Estonian singer Kerli's upcoming second studio album. Her first since 2008's Love Is Dead. The eight year drought was punctuated by appearances on the Almost Alice soundtrack and a euphoric EP Utopia that was meant to be her second studio album.

Kerli returns to the music world after discovering herself in the isolation of the woods in Estonian. Her first single releases from her upcoming album were measured ballads. Breathtaking and beautiful. Both “Feral Hearts” and “Blossom” displayed the sensitivity she can deliver.

It's with “Diamond Hard” that we find her at her most visceral. It's the most other worldly of the tracks she's displayed so far. The song's is meant to be an uplifting piece of pop and lyrically it delivers. The music video finds her reveling in pagan themes. We have spikes on her back, a diamond encrusted Kerli, and a woman in red placed on a pedestal as mysterious black figures hound her.

The Second Amendment

It's been a few weeks since the massacre occurred in Orlando that killed 49 people, and the United States is once again stubbornly pushing through to decry that “guns don't kill people, people kill people”. Our politicians continue to send their prayers and put in no effort to try to solve the problem. We seem to think that if we turn a blind eye the problem will correct itself. It hasn't worked yet.

It's certainly not lost on me that the deadliest mass shooting in United States history was a culmination of homophobia and prejudice against the Latino community.

And, maybe that's why our politicians really don't care. The people hurt so often in mass shootings are already marginalized by society. The gunman is just upholding our preexisting sexist, islamaphobic, racist, homophobic, and transphobic view points.

The Planned Parenthood shooting that took place last November left 3 dead and 9 injured. 3 Muslims were killed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina early last year. The Charleston Church shooting left 9 black church members dead. And, these were just the shootings I recalled from a single year. There were 372 mass shootings last year, leaving 475 dead.

The Pulse nightclub shooting shook the LGBT community in the United States. We've been bullied and singled out our entire lives, but we have never had our safe places violated in such a way. The last time something of this magnitude occurred was in 1973 when 32 people were killed in an arson fire in New Orleans at a gay bar known as the Upstairs Lounge.

Gun violence is an epidemic in the United States that doesn't seem to be going away. President Obama has given 18 speeches during his presidency addressing these national tragedies and still we haven't fixed anything.

That same weekend, social media was still reeling from the death of popstar Christina Grimmie, when we found out about the Orlando shooting. By December 23rd in 2015, 12,942 people had been killed in the United States as a result of gun violence. On an average day in America, 36 people are killed by guns.

The U.S is in desperate need in of gun reform. Whatever that is. Just as long as we do something. We need to try to fix this crisis.

As Dan Hodges noted last year around the time of the Charleston Church shooting, “in retrospect Sandy Hook marked the end of the US gun control debate. Once America decided killing children was bearable it was over.” 20 children were killed that day. 27 including the adults.

In the United States we directly link guns to masculinity and our masculinity to violence. We have more guns per capita then any other country in the world. In the United States we have more guns then citizens. And our guns have more rights then our marginalized groups.

13 days after the massacre at Orlando, republican Andy Holt made the decision to give away an AR-15 at a fundraiser. The weapon involved in the United States most deadly mass shooting. According to columnist Helen Ubiñas it took her 7 minutes to purchase this same semi-automatic rifle. God bless the United States.

Ready For The Bloodshed

The end of May, and the end of finals, promises the call of bloodshed. MTV's Scream is back and ready to rip the throats out of unsuspecting Lakewood residents.

It's been called the low quality Scream Queens. It's been ridiculed. Critically panned and yet here we are for a second season. I personally am ready to be murdered. Sometimes you just need some low quality entertainment to spice up your life. It's scary but not scary. I can still go to sleep at night and that's what truly matters.

All the cast from the prior season is returning for even more knife wielding action. After all, we still haven't caught all the killers.

Things are ramping up. We know from last season that there was at least a second killer. This is what happens when you wear a mask. Anyone can put it on and rip someone aorta out and blame your crime spree on it. It's unfair. Last season's killer, Piper Shaw got shot in the head from the help of everyone's favorite lesbian Audrey Jensen, who also happened to be seen burning incriminating letters.

First of all Audrey. Who the fuck writes each other letters in the 21st century. Get your shit together. No one is calling from inside the house. We all have fucking cell phones.

Noah is investigating this second killer. He's obsessed with serial killers and I believe he will continue to survive until this show is inevitably canceled. He's everyone's favorite geek next door and I'm almost positive he's taking over the podcast on murder run by everyone's favorite Piper Shaw, but we'll have to wait for that.

Brooke and Jake are finally together. It's time. Brooke is everyone's favorite popular dumb blonde slut. I thought for sure they were going to slice her in that refrigerator last season, but here we are. Jake is just stupid, but he's sweet. Kind of. Brooke is played by Carlson Young. A goddess of beauty and grace and if she ends up being the killer this season I expect her to get away with it.

Emma is the show's central and most boring figure. This season she'll be returning from therapy, but of course she won't be recovered. Like get over it Emma. Sure you saw your boyfriend sliced in half by farm machinery. Sure you watched the Sherrif's intestines fall out. Get over it. It's not that traumatic.

We have new characters and it's all blah, blah, blah. There's a new sheriff in town, but is he who he pretends to be? He's just the boy next door, but does he have a dark secret motive? Like we get it. They're all suspicious you can't trust any of them.

Realistically all the fresh young blood is not here so we have a deep personal connection. They're here so we can watch their heads get chopped off while Brooke and Jake have sex in the back of his pick up truck.

In exciting news we finally have some non-white entities on set. Last season all we had was Riley and the killer daggered her up by episode three. This season promises us a slight increase in diversity with a new Sheriff played by Anthony Ruivivar and the new girl overachiever with a dark secret played by Kiana Brown

The Year of J. Lo

2016 is quickly becoming the year of J. Lo after her continued success of Jenuary. Jennifer Lopez has needed some wins and this year is primed to be a rising comeback.

Jennifer Lopez is the reigning queen on the season finale of American Idol. She's spending a few hours a week on our TV sets trying to find the last superstar winner from the aging giant. Along with Keith Urban, Harry Connick Jr., and perennial wallflower Ryan Seacrest, Jennifer Lopez is sending American Idol into it's farewell on television.

J. Lo is closing out the rating juggernaut and bringing a new TV show to success. Her crime drama Shades of Blue has been renewed for a second season on NBC. You can read more about that here.

The show stars Jennifer Lopez as a dirty cop. It brings little new concepts to the format. But, what can? It's executed flawlessly and was a much needed win for the superstar. J. Lo is caught in the crossfire of Ray Liotta and an FBI handler trying to get her to entrap her crew of dirty cops into prison time.

Shades of Blue has it all. Brazilian prostitutes. Heroin addicts. Sex scenes. Dynamite. Ray Liotta stars as a bisexual protector of the community. There's homophobic hate crimes. Racism. Every episode ends with an OMG moment. We've got cheating husbands and violent ex lovers about to get out of jail for a murder they didn't commit. Steamy D.A.'s. Sex. It's amazing.

The show has been producing steady ratings and a place on television is a good place for Jennifer Lopez. She's got the kids to take care of after all.

Her residency show is selling out. She's lip syncing her way through all her hits. The show is titled after her number one smash “All I Have”. She's playing in the Planet Hollywood Resort, right down the street from Celine Dion, Olivia Newton-John, and Mariah Carey.

The sold out performances start at a reasonable rate of $109 and go up to the collegiate price of $858.33. I for one am booking my plane to Vegas.

Now as attainable as that is, do you know what has this Jlover wound up? Jennifer Lopez wants to release new music. For her residency. The Bronx queen is coming back. What better way to end the new year then with a new radio smash?

These are the rumors that are flying out there. One. Jennifer Lopez is recording a new Spanish album. We haven't had a full length Spanish record from J. Lo since Como Ama Una Mujer. One of her best and most soft albums in my humble homosexual opinion. I'm down for a repeat.

Two. She's recording a Christmas album. I need something to bolster my holiday spirits besides RuPaul's Ho Ho Ho.

All we know is that she's been in the recording studio. Her duet with Jason Derulo “Try Me” was passed to him when she said “his album would come out before hers”.

The only thing sure in this year of Jennifer Lopez is that she's keeping everything under lock and key. Will the album be R&B? Pop? Dance? Spanish? English? Christmas? A mixture of all of the above. All we can do is wait and see and watch Shades of Blue.

The Paris Hilton Update

Where is the album?

Much like Rihanna, Paris Hilton has been teasing us out about her still unreleased second studio album. She's been signed to Young Money Cash Money, since 2013 and yet the album has not surfaced.

We've run through the lead single “Good Time”. It had Lil Wayne as a guest feature, although by this time his star power wouldn't have helped it gained radio play. He's been losing his grip at pop radio for some time now.

“Good Time” is a rave by the numbers pop jewel with Paris cooing over a seductive electronic beat. Paris is clearly hoping to recreate the success of “Stars Are Blind”. Sometimes she forgets how polarizing she is.

She followed it up with the breathy “Come Alive”, a beautiful, if not hit worthy song that she released in 2014. This song was the subject of the first post on this blog. You can read about it here.

That fall we were supposed to have it's follow up “High Off My Love”. It's release got continually pushed off until 2015, and even then kept getting pushed forward. The video for the song had been filmed way back in 2014. We finally get it and it drips and drenches of BDSM. It's glorious, if the Birdman feature is unnecessary. And, let's not forget about the snippet of a music video she released for a song titled “Never Be Alone” that glistens with autotune and the sound of a club banger.

Part of these problems could be directly related to the problems YMCM is having at the moment. The formerly paternal bond of Lil Wayne of Birdman has ended in lawsuits. And, let's not forget that shooter who tried to take out Lil Wayne in the style of Notorious B.I.G.

The music label Paris has aligned herself with is having it's own conflicts and the heiress herself seems insistent on having a hit.

I don't see why this is necessary. It would be nice, yes, but her last album was not the Juggernaut she needs to follow up with an equal smash. As long as this album charts within the top 100 it won't be a commercial disappointment.

This is what she needs to do. Run a print campaign, go on TV. Be a tabloid star again. Get people talking about her and all the while be dragging her new music out along with it. Paris has matured though and I don't think that appeals to her.

She's been releasing new perfumes instead and conducting a photo shoot for the album booklet. But, this was last year.

There's a new song out entitled “Crazy” that has Paris Hilton on the vocals. DJ poet and Joshua Gomez are behind the scenes. It's an intense, boundary pushing, dance number worthy of her DJ status in Ibiza.

Younger Returns

Younger is returning for a second season on TV Land this January. It will be having a one hour premiere on Wednesday the 13th. It picks up where season one left us, which wasn't much of anywhere. The shows plot line was for the most part wrapped up.

This season Liza continues to pretend that she is a young hip 20 something millennial. Sutton Foster is pretty, but there is some need to suspend our disbelief. None of her coworkers know how old she really is. Only her dear lesbian friend played by the eternally sexy Debi Mazar and her young sexy tattoo artist boyfriend Nico Tortorella know the truth.

There are some exciting things happening. Hilary Duff. The true queen of Disney Channel is in the recording studio. For Younger. All we can assume is she's vamping up the show's nonexistent theme song. As of now all we have is this dub step preview of a vamped up cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Little Lies", which is not nearly as bad as it sounds.

The truth is no one actually caress whats happening to Liza. Sure, she's the center of the plot line and the lead, but she's dull. She is the forty year old suburban mom just trying to make her way in New York City.

Maggie is the interesting component. Her zesty lesbian friend. Who is supposed to start sleeping with Kelsey's (Hilary Duff) best friend Lauren. This should not come as a surprise. Lauren did drop MDMA in her guests champagne at her Jewish Hotmitzvah. The girl is just exploring her sexual identity.

Hilary Duff is still messing around. Last season her character cheated on her douchey boyfriend with Norwegian (?) writer Anton Bjornberg. And, when she finally revealed it to him, it turned out he was also cheating. They are still together, so yeah for love?

Kelsey is a wonderful girl. It hurts my soul how confined she is in this relationship, but that is why we have mama Liza to coach her on her wrong ways. In the mean time. Thad. Kelsey's boyfriend is kind of hot.

Tragically, their boss Diana Trout (Miriam Shor) is still going to be having trouble with love. She is after all in love with her coworker Charles. Who is also clearly and passionately in love with Liza. However, he's too much of a gentleman to go for a lower level twenty some year old professional in his workplace. And, Liza is not about to cheat on Josh (Nico Tortorella).

They have unrequited love. If we make it to season four something is bound to happen. Until then, we will watch Diana Trout stare on from the distance while her eggs shrivel up.

And, if Trout ever finds out about Liza's real age. It will be over. Her career in publishing will be done. Trout has occasionally shown her kind heart, but it doesn't stretch to this kind of estrogen takeover and deception.

The Havana Brown Update

I'm a little late on the charge, but I had to do my civic duty and update you on the wonderings of the wonderful and talented Havana Brown.

The last update I gave you was really prior rehashing of what she has been up to. As most of her mainstream commercial success has happened in Australia this is not general public knowledge. One of the blogs I read recently said she was one of the highest selling Australian artists.

He wasn't wrong, but he was stanning hard. Who are universally famous Australian recording artists? Olivia Newton-John, Kylie Minogue, and ACDC. Sia if you want to go current. Their platinum certification is 70,000 copies compared to the United States a million copies. The thresholds are wildly different. Havana Brown's “We Run The Night” sold over a million copies in this country. She might be one of the highest selling Australian recording artists, but that doesn't mean well renowned.

Olivia Newton-John has sold an estimated 100 million records.

Kylie Minogue has sold an estimated 70 million records.

ACDC has sold over 200 million records

Sia has sold over 25 million records.

Havana Brown has for over the past year being gearing up for a follow up to her sensational debut album Flashing Lights. I was hoping it would be slated for a 2014 release, and now I'm just hoping we get it in 2015.

So far five singles have been released to promote this album. None of which have attained commercial success the way “We Run The Night” or “Warrior” have. "We Run The Night" being the single that brought her to international attention.

“Whatever We Want” was a catchy banger. Original might not be how I would describe it, but obsessed with it none the less I was. It reached the top forty in Australia for one week and it seems unlikely that it will appear on her new album. Much like it's follow up “Better Not Said”.

Now “Better Not Said” actually got a music video made for it. I liked “Better Not Said”, but it took a couple spins for Havana Brown's breathy vocals to take over me and for me to fall head over heels for this song. That is not the way a hit pop record is done. It not all that surprisingly also did not fare well.

Then her and DJ Walden worked up a remix of Sade's “No Ordinary Love” with Havana on lead vocal. This wasn't a hit for Sade back when they were popular. Not that they were the tantamount of smash hit after smash hits. Needless to say it did not slay the charts the way she wanted.

This was the song I stood for. “Bullet Blowz” was good. It was a club banger. Too much of a club banger for radio. That's a damn shame, because that song is amazing. Havana slayed it. Our bald headed boy DJ Kronic served up some sick beats. You couldn't figure out the name of the song to save your life. It was tragically not destined for success.

The song that is ready to go top ten is prepped and ready for war. “Battle Cry” has Bebe Rexha as a feature along with Savi. Savi is not important. Bebe Rexha you may know as one of the cowriters on Eminem's hit “Monster” and her own turn on Cash Cash's “Take Me Home”. Bebe Rexha is a multitalented powerhouse with a voice to kill for.

This song is a more pop direction. Potentially signaling the drop of the previous four singles as a change of direction for Havana. This song is pop with a big battle cry. It doesn't take more then one listen to realize Havana has returned and is ready to let us have it. This is the song that could relaunch her in the United States.

The music video? To die for. Literally. There are sexy shirtless men surrounded in a stilted western themed extravaganza where Havana Brown gets her revenge. The concept is already more original then the shoot she and Pitbull did for “We Run The Night”.

China Rich Girlfriend

Usually with Media Monday's I try to have it come out near the time of the actually event. This happened about a month ago, but I decided that it was fine. Literature is archaic. You don't need to be informed of it ahead of time. I'm pumped for this novel. I've actually just started reading it and it is everything.

The novel is called China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan. I fell in love with his first book Crazy Rich Asians last summer and told everyone to read it. No one did. China Rich Girlfriend is the follow up to the first one and I'm dying.

I found out about his first novel, because an excerpt of it was put in Vogue. I can tell your judging me and that's fine. That's where I find out about all my literature. It's the reason I'm checking out Anna Erelle's In The Skin of a Jihadist. Which, should be absolutely fascinating.

Crazy Rich Asians plays with stereotypes. I feel like Kevin Kwan is playing with and criticizing the way Americans perceive and lump together Asian cultures. However, I have not taken the time to analyze it in this way. I really need one of my literature professors to read it and tell me what they think.

Jackie Collins

The first novel was lauded by Jackie Collins and she is queen. I would say the novel is in the style of that, except less trashy and more wholesomeish fun. The basic premise of Crazy Rich Asians is that Rachel Chu is going to Singapore with her fiancee Nick to meet the family.

What she doesn't know is that his family is the pedigreed rich. Something he didn't tell his ABC (American Born Chinese) girlfriend. There is back biting, gossip, disapproval. Scandal. This is the central plot, but it is certainly not the only one. This novel works off of this dynamic of an intricate web of relationships.

China Rich Girlfriend should be leaving us off where Crazy Rich Asians left us. With a solid ending and reasonable certainty that Nick and Rachel would be married.

It's received warm reviews much like the first one. It's funny. Original. Modern. It came out on the same day that a string of albums made there way into the world. Breathe In. Breathe Out, The Fool, Deja Vu. This novel starts before the ceremony.

It's guaranteed to be a heated mess. Where at first it seems only a little messy and then heat is applied to it so what was once a little mess is now even mesier.

For me it's the literary event of the year along with Jackie Collin's new novel. Get yourself a copy at the local library. I don't know about you, but I don't have twenty dollars to drop on a nice hardcover book.

That said mama didn't think twice about it when Kim Kardashian dropped Selfish. I would have emptied my bank account for that book.

Vicious Like A Viper

Bonnie McKee should have been apart of my “Music of June” post, but I didn't find out about her latest release until after it was queued up.

The name Bonnie McKee shouldn't be familiar to you. Her list of song credits should. Think “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz, “Hold It Against Me” via Miss Britney Spears, and any number of Katy Perry hits ranging from “Roar” to “Teenage Dream”.

Much like Ester Dean her focus has been behind the music's production. She is a hit maker and what's more sexy as fuck. Besides a stray studio album she released in 2004, Bonnie McKee's solo career has been uneventful. She's planning on changing that.

I have sporadically been watching Bonnie McKee's career since she released “American Girl” back in 2013 from her still upcoming studio album. I heard this song on the radio of all places. I heard multiple times all in the same day and it was clear. I was either going to love it or I was going to hate it. I really thought this song was going to blow up. It didn't.

The woman knows her way around a hook. She's the backbone of Katy Perry's career and yet some how her own music doesn't warrant radio play. It would seem she's the perfect candidate to rule the top forty.

This song didn't do well. Although, I still watch the video once in a while. It's sexy and fun and very summer. She followed “American Girl” up with a song and a video. However, they were just for her fan's enjoyment??? She's honestly not a big enough star to warrant that. “Sleepwalker” had zombies hot girls, a house party, and enough make out sessions to make the casual pop fan happy. It was fun if not impressionable.

The song was good. If not number one material. All of 2014 there is no news from Bonnie McKee until almost December where she drops a Christmas song complete with video entitled “California Winter” which is perfectly catchy. This was not meant for top 40 domination. What was Bonnie McKee doing.

Then, I find out in late may that she has dropped “Bombastic” with an EP release coming on June 30th. The titular lead single “Bombastic” is rife with plenty of memorable tidbits that could easily send it to the top of the charts. The video has a dated eighties theme that's been played out before. This time with twerking and cardio. A Jane Fonda work out video with Bonnie McKee heralding the flag. It's sexy. It's the definition of summer.

The only thing that worries me is that Bonnie McKee is no longer with her major record label. Something about not having artistic control or whatever it was. She is no longer with them. Now, I like “Bombastic”, but this needs a good record label push. The song and the video are not on the viral level of “Gangnam Style”.

This is also hopefully just a teaser for her album, which should be released at some point later this year. And, “American Girl” along with “Sleepwalker” will find their way on to the track list. The EP is called Bombastic and it's guaranteed to be just that. It's out on June 30th. It will be the four hottest songs of the summer all in one place. You can preorder it now on iTunes.

Bitch, She's Madonna

For people not invested in the process of Madonna's new studio album. It is a lot of information to keep up with. Collaborators, tracklists, instagram pictures. That is why I will try to summarize the event that is sure to hit us in year 2015.

For over a year now Madonna has been teasing us with the release of her 13th studio album. It's been a cruel process to the fans. At the start of this year, I thought there was a strong possibility that we could have a new album that summer, maybe later that year. Well, it is no longer later this year. It will be 2015. No release date within 2015, but I think the album is close to done.

From the collaborators swirling around in the studio, this album should be EDM inspired. We have Avicii, Diplo, Disclosure, Natalia Kills, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys all as possibilities.

Avicii is for all intensive purposes confirmed as a collaborator. I do not approve. Although, it doesn't surprise me that Madonna likes him. His music is derivative of her American Life album. His lack of originality and his critical acclaim bother me as Madonna's similar work was derided by the critics. However. I have chosen to accept him as the Queen has graced him with her presence.

Diplo is confirmed. Diplo is just a producer. You probably know some of his work. He's the man behind “Paper Planes”, “Look At Me Now” and “Too Close”. He has guaranteed us that there are three certified smashes from the album with his name attached to it. Now when I listed those three songs earlier and said this is what you should know him for. That is literally all you will know him for. He's worked with other big names, but those are the hits he's attached to. Three.

So, he wants to tell us he's co-written three hits with Madonna when he has only produced three hits in his entire career? I don't think so, bitch. He is also the only one talking about Madonna's new album with anyone. I'm sorry Guy O'Seary her manager isn't talking. What makes you think your special. Oh, right the same person who couldn't make it to Madonna's Academy Awards Party. What is your life sir. This music better be the shit, because you are rude. And, if anything goes wrong I will not be blaming Madonna.

Now Disclosure is interesting. They're a relatively new production team. I don't particularly care for the Sam Smith fronted “Latch”, still with the right backing vocals (*cough* *cough* Madonna) I'm interested. They said recently to Billboard that they are not working with Madonna, but they would “consider it”. Everyone would consider it. Are you being shady, Disclosure. Are there plans to work with Madonna that you are respectfully choosing not to inform us of. That is my question. I think they are definitely possibilities. I expect to see collaborations from them on her new album.

This brings us to a very interesting point. Natalia Kills, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, and Alicia Keys have been linked to this album. The question is are they appearing on the album as songwriters or featured artists?

Natalia Kills I am very up in the air about. She is a wise move for Madonna to team up with. Natalia has that underground pop vibe that could lure the hipsters into looking into a Madonna record. I think a duet or just some backing vocals from Natalia Kills would be great for the album.

The same goes for Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, and Alicia Keys. I like what they bring to the table. Katy Perry has been rumored to have been collaborating with her since their S&M themed V cover shoot last Labor Day. Miley Cyrus's twerking “We Can't Stop/Don't Tell Me” mash up with Madonna this year shows it as a possibility. And, I think it would be a great move. Both Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus draw from different sectors of the pop market. It is too bad that the Queen couldn't have gotten Katy during her Teenage Dream phase. Everything Katy was touching turned multi-platinum, but she will still be useful to her.

Nicki and Alicia are collaborators. No question. Who knows what song Alicia Keys will be featured on. This is a rather new announcement made through Madonna. Personally. I'm shocked Nicki is back in the studio with Madonna. I love it. It will be great. Madonna almost never collaborates twice with someone. William Orbit and the producers of her earlier records being the major exceptions.

What's great about all these women is that they all draw from different sectors of the pop market. This new album will be big. It will catapult Madonna to the upper echelons.

Word has it that Nicki Minaj is doing a rap verse for a song, tentatively titled “Bitch, I'm Madonna”. I hope this song exists. However, in the way of star power. A “Bang, Bang” style trio would be fantastic. Imagine.

Lead single.

Titled, either “Messiah”, “Living For Love”, “Rebel Heart”, “Sorry Not Sorry” or “Unapologetic Bitch”. I repeat. “Unapologetic Bitch”

Yes. Do you feel it. Can you imagine. Shaking at the thought of it. Also in case you weren't aware all of those song titles I threw out there are popular tags Madonna has been adding to her twitter and instagram. Conversely all of those tags could be the title for her new album.

It saddens me that the album won't be out this year, but I think it's a good thing for its sales. Madonna is a legend. Legend status doesn't get you on the radio. If anything it's a barrier to get on the radio. Madonna does not need to be fighting the Rihanna's for radio play this holiday season. When the music industry has slowed back down, she should strike. For all intensive purposes, though I think the album is done.

A “source” stated that if the album was done there would be sales sheets and other proof it was coming out this year. They said she would have a cohesive plans for music videos and the “look”. Now if anyone does follow her on instagram. Madonna has the look down. She's settled on what this album is. It's just not going to drop. Anyone who suggests that Madonna will drop an album like Beyonce did last year is blindly mistaken. This is Madonna bitch. She is not going to copy someone that shamelessly.

The earliest I feel we can hope for any music from this new untitled set is December. An album release in February at the earliest. The first public performance of a lead single at Dick Clark's New Year's Rocking Eve. I would push that forward to the Grammy's in February. Leaving the album to a release date in March or April of 2015.

Once, she has a large public performance of her single she can drop the album and go on tour. Drop it like MDNA and link ticket sales to the album. She doesn't need to prove herself anymore and she certainly doesn't need a song on the radio.

At this point it's more a point of pride. If however she's going to get on the radio. We need better promotion then what we got for MDNA. And, a better lead single. I love “Give Me All Your Luvin'”, but “Girl Gone Wild” was a better choice. Especially if all America was going to hear of the new album at the Superbowl was that song.

If all these collaborations pan out with featured singers it should be interesting. Madonna has never been a major collaborator on her albums or in general. When she did “Me Against The Music” with Britney Spears she was using her. Just like she used Justin Timberlake, Nicki Minaj, and M.I.A. It's to endear her to a younger fan base. To prove that she's cool still. It's a strong plan. Even, if she doesn't need to prove it.

Whatever happens with this record I want it to sell well. At least a million copies in the United States. We need to get it certified platinum and stop these haters from saying she's “under performing”. Being certified any type of sales record means you didn't under perform. If we have to, Madonna fans we will buy two copies of this album to hit that platinum mark. We will gift it to someone for Christmas or there birthday or just because.

Everyone needs one Madonna album. It's practically a civic duty for us to give it to them. Stay unapologetic bitches.
