It starts with a roll of thunder. A very original approach for a song titled “Like Lightening”, but it perfectly sets the tone for the kind of frothy dance explosion that DJ Havana Brown has delivered since her breakout “We Run The Night”.

“Like Lightening” is a successful launch. It features a rap from an unknown Dawin and song writing credits from beleaguered pop star Kesha. The song is instantly familiar like all good pop music, but twisty enough to hopefully make a lasting impression. We shall see how well it serves her.
There is no release date or title for Havana's new upcoming project. Although, she has discussed just releasing music “as it's finished” like Calvin Harris has been doing without a studio album in mind. We shall see what she decides to do and what kind of chart placement “Like Lightening” finds itself with the help of Kesha behind the propulsive track.
