  | Watching the Dolce & Gabbana runway shows are never a given for me, I have a complicated relationship with the fashion house, I tend to find overblown. Imagine my surprise then, when I'm watching their Milan on the 15th when I see Cameron Dallas open the catwalk. I have visceral knowledge of the internet star, but I knew he was none the less. He has the same polished look of Shawn Mendes and was modelesque enough to open the show. Dolce & Gabbana along with the rest of the fashion community, is trying to stay, hip, modern, and cool in order to ensure a younger generation's support. They certainly succeeded with this new collection. These are the new Dolce prince's and the clothes they wear. Tween star Austin Mahone even performed. |
Fashion writer Tim Blanks remarked of the collection that it consisted of “familiar Dolce tropes- hyper tailored three piece suits, silk pyjamas, sportswear gilded or distressed.” He was less, then impressed but I found the collection visually appealing, if garish at times.

Sofia Richie even walked the runway. Continuing fashion's trend of combing women into men's shows and men into women's show. Sofia Richie is notably the daughter of entertainer Lionel Richie and sister of socialite Nicole Richie.
