| Jessica Simpson is just one of those people that everyone loves. Recently, I was trying to figure out why that was. I had no answer. Then, I said why do I like Jessica Simpson? No answer. She was great when her and her sister came on Rachel Ray, but that didn't explain the way I stand for her. I just really like her. I don't follow her career. I was planning on researching her career, but that isn't the point of this article. We like Jessica Simpson for being Jessica Simpson, this coming from someone who's never seen her reality show, and isn't even sure on the name. |  |
Of course P!NK doesn't like her (regard the line in “So What” The waiter just gave my table to Jessica Simpshit). I can't tell you why. I like Jessica Simpson. Something tells me P!NK wouldn't like me. So, I guess it makes sense that we don't like the same people. You know when I went to see P!NK when she was on her Truth About Love Tour right before the show started I was looking around at these people, and I wanted to shout at them “You embody the STUPID GIRLS P!NK HATES!”
I didn't of course. And, if you ever get a chance, snatch up some tickets and go see her. She's phenomenal. Even, my mother enjoyed it. After she got over the shock of “Fucking Perfect” and “Slut Like You”.

I always forget that Jessica Simpson sang. I don't even forget. I have her Sweet Kisses album. I just don't care. I really don't care about her career at all. I know she had that “I Wanna Love You Forever” song, she covered “These Boots Are Made For Walking” and from there I couldn't tell you anything.
I did not enjoy that album of hers. I do realize Sweet Kisses was her first album, but many teen idols have had fun enjoyable first albums (… Baby One More Time, Metamorphosis). Britney Spears and Hilary Duff slayed, but Jessica Simpson was just too Celine Dion/ Mariah Carey in a way that I didn't care. There is a duet with Nick Lachey (She married him right?) and another one with Destiny's Child on Sweet Kisses that is worth checking out if you have any visceral interest. I might get around to buying her Christmas albums, though. It's just like how I am with Josh Groban. I melt for his voice, but I don't want his music. He puts out a Christmas album, and sidle up next to him and buy that right up.

Maybe what I like about Jessica is how wholesome she is. She's always sexy. Whether it was in those daisy dukes or when she was having that baby. Jessica is a sexy woman, filled out or skinny. And, I'm here for that.
Her shoes I am also here for. I will have to take a picture of all my mother's high heels some day, so I can show you all. My mother has too many shoes, and my mother loves her affordable, but still sleek and sexy heels that Jessica puts out. Of course one of my sisters is getting her shoes when my mother passes away. My foot is too big, and it ticks me off. I deserve those shoes.
