I recently had the privilege to go to Houston, Texas. You can read about that here and despite my desire to never return to that city (even for a layover flight), I'm still raving about the Galleria. Expansive, and three stories, it had a Neiman Marcus which is the cornerstone for any metropolitan area. They also had store fronts for any luxury brand you can think of. Celine, Fendi, Prada, Miu Miu... Burberry was the store I fell in love with. Fashion is a lifestyle choice and although my area of residence is not hickville it can't support a Neimans and I've never had a chance to see any of the clothes I read about in person. |
The heart print cotton trench coat addresses the desire for whimsy in high fashion. My concerns are that it won't be considered “professional” in my area of the country (and it most likely won't) and with the steep price of $2,195 it requires a good sale before I can truly invest in it. My personal favorite comes in what Burberry describes as a “black/honey” color. The closest I may ever get to that jacket is trying it on, but for one moment I felt like the most sophisticated shopper in the world.
