  | Boutique shopping is a passion. I enjoy going into local stores and seeing what they have to offer the “fashion” community. Now I would hardly refer to 20Twelve as a local store. You can find their ads in high gloss magazines. I went into a branch of the store in my city. I'd been meaning to go for awhile and the day I had my grandfather's medical pendant seemed like a good day to convince them of my wealth. The store is gorgeously modern and streamlined. Something, shopping online hardly does you justice. Expensive stores are always characterized by your inability to find a tag. Yes, I'm sure Kate Middleton looked great in that blouse, but my bank account doesn't have $325 in it. |
Personally, I was obsessed with this black and pink coat. It was faux fur. Who can afford to buy real fur after all? The clerk and I laughed about that in the most moneyed way possible. I never found the price tag, but the matching clutch (which didn't even come with a chain) totalled over $300. I'm imaging that animal friendly coat was over a $1,000. Even, with a store wide 30% I couldn't afford it.
Would I recommend going in? Of course and someday I have a dream of buying something there. If you don't like the clothes, you can always buy the furniture. Everything is for sale. Everything. 20Twelve is a lifestyle brand that continues to power on even after the year that was supposed to end. The store offers a range of clothes both fashion forward and less so, but no matter what you pick you'll end up with a statement piece that no one else in your tax bracket is sure to duplicate.
