 | After reflecting on her costars Shaun Cassidy (read here) and Parker Stevenson (read here) it seemed only fair that I gave Pamela Sue Martin her own Throwback Thursday and complete the trilogy. Her role as Nancy Drew made her an integral part of my childhood. She was one of the most beautiful women in the entire world and she was Nancy Drew. I loved her unconditionally. I still do. Pamela Sue Martin is most famous for her role on the Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, although she didn't finish the shows run out being replaced by Janet Johnson. |
She also starred in Dynasty, the long running nighttime soap opera as Fallon Carrington Colby. Of course in a recurring theme for Martin, she didn't finish out the show's nine season run, being replaced by Emma Samms later on.
Her film career never took off, however The Lady In Red is one of the ones I remember distinctly from my childhood. She played a prostitute. What could be more family friendly after playing a role as America's sweetheart Nancy Drew?
