| Last weeks Throwback on Shaun Cassidy (read here) inspired me to delve into his costar on The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries. Parker Stevenson, played the older more mature Frank Hardy. He was tall, dark, and brooding if a little serious. He was the Jacyln Smith of Charlie's Angels. Attractive with a full head of hair and endearing in a silent beauty kind of way. Parker Stevenson has not fared as well as his costar. His net worth is only $10,000,000 but as a pop culture phenom he's more memorable. He had his teen idol fame and was a cornerstone of Baywatch. He has his foot firmly in two pieces of pop history, although there was no singing career to revel in. |   |
For me Parker Stevenson's marriage to Kirstie Alley is the most memorable thing about him. Kirstie Alley had Cheers and Star Trek fame. She's brash and fun and a new cast member on this season's Scream Queens. Something tells me her ex husband won't be making a guest appearance. Their marriage ended after he left the church of Scientology. He may not have any film projects in the works, but with the new Baywatch film coming out next year. Who knows how many late night talk shows he'll be on.
