Fergie as you now is an idol. I did a week of Fergie in order to celebrate the release of her newest comeback single “L.A. Love”. I did the week of Fergie about two weeks after the single dropped last October, and hoped by timing it this way that the music video would be out.

It did not. Instead it dropped this week. With color, glitter, sex appeal, grinding, and all the things that make up a good music video. 

I personally would like to take credit for Fergie's come back. “L.A. Love” climbed the charts the week after my week of Fergie came out. We all know that is exactly what didn't happen, but I'm just going to pretend that it did.

I really don't need to convince you to be obsessed with this song. The radio will do that for you. It has that sick DJ Mustard beat and Fergie sing rapping over an addictive base line. I love it.

The music video as I said is full of color. No real plot. It is basically a real life Where's Waldo. There are a million odd celebrity cameos in this video. I caught two of them the first time out, so go me for being observant. For some reason they have also decided to throw YG into the mix for the video. I'm not sure why, but I am not opposed to his presence.

It is a party and it is turnt. Fergie looks sexy as usual. Slaying these other basics in 2014. I am obsessed with it. Like kill the game Fergie. She's also going to be performing it live for the first time at the American Music Awards on the 23rd of this month. Assuming I am not at work I will be live tweeting about the duchess taking my body to a different universe.

No doubt by the time December comes around, Fergie should have a top ten hit with “L.A. Love” and in January we might have the new album. We shall see. Watch the video. Support the duchess. Enjoy you're Saturday. Represent when she comes to your town.
