A Mortal God From Vancouver

Godfrey Gao is not a household name, but that doesn't mean he isn't sexy as hell. ​

I don't remember the first time I heard about Godfrey Gao. It was probably at some point when I was trolling the internet. I know I saw him on a list of actors who should play Shang in the live action version of Mulan. Yes. It's happening. 

All I ask is that they don't white wash the cast and Eddie Murphy returns to play Mushu. Also that they put Godfrey Gao in there, preferably with multiple shirtless scenes. 

Godfrey Gao is an actor, DJ, and model. He is gorgeous and I'm glad that he can be found in the pages of high gloss fashion design. He's just so pretty. It's no wonder he's the first male Asian model to be used by Louis Vuitton. This man is sex and glamor all in the convenient wrapping of godlike physical proportions. 

He's a Canadian. Not naturally born, thank God. The only good celebrities Canada has ever produced are Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and Drake. Hi, Justin. ​

He was born on the island of Taiwan. Mainland Chinese he is not. His father is Taiwanese and his mother is Malaysian. He has two older brothers, all sexy, not as sexy as him. He's 31, so maybe a little old for me, but age doesn't matter in Hollywood. 

I love tall men. I'm a basic bitch, I can't help it. Shorties are great too and there's something to be said about sexy short men. There's can be a lot of power in a little body. Thankfully, with Godrey Gao you don't have to compromise. He's 6'5”. God is real. It's no wonder he played basketball.​

He has an obsession with Michael Jordan and there's nothing wrong with that. What self respecting straight male doesn't?

His acting career I know nothing of. I'm sure he's amazing. His only American appearance was in The Mortal Instruments of God. I didn't read the books. I didn't watch the movie. I might have if I'd known his sexiness was making an appearance. 

Godfrey Gao is a multitalented man. He's a Renaissance individual. He has a clothing company. Flagship Lifestyle Inc. Not the most promising name, but he says his father is his fashion inspiration. You're allowed to clutch your heartstrings, that's the cutest shit I've heard in the longest.​

I've never heard of his DJing. He's been doing it since he was sixteen, but it's never been his professional career aspiration. He did it for free money and who isn't a DJ at this point? Hopefully, Godfrey Gao wasn't the inspiration behind Lily Allen's lyricism, “whatever happened to real DJ's (…) the chick you paid can't mix for shit.”
